The set arrived in a timely manner in a well packaged box. As a set, it was a bit heavy but still manageable. The pieces take the heat pretty well, especially the hot food that just came from the campfire. Cleaning was pretty simple with not much sticking. Although, the dishes and bowls stuck to each other if they have not been properly dried. Separating the bowls later was difficult. When they arrived, the enamel looked great-beautiful color, nice and sturdy construction (this is why I have not given the set a 1-star rating). If you don't examine the plates too carefully, they look pretty good. However,the stainless steel rim leaves a bit to be desired. Rather than being smooth, it's a bit warped. Also, the part of the rim where it was welded, is a bit rough. The rim creates a crevice all around the plate. Food particles get stuck in this crevice, making it a hassle to keep them clean. BTW,the set is made in China (I wish Amazon would list where all the items are made). |
